Four-week Teaching English as a Foreign
Language (TEFL)
Program for Native-speakers of
English The Teaching English as a Foreign Language
Certificate Program is intended to prepare new
teachers who are native speakers of English and
would like to seek employment abroad or stateside
as English language teachers. The program is also
suitable for those who have teaching experience but
no formal training in the area of TESOL.
Participants will be able to plan effective lessons in
the areas of grammar, conversation, reading, writing,
and pronunciation. They will also be able to
implement lessons with a wide range of effective
teaching techniques.
Admission Requirements
• Native or near-native speakers of English who
intend to teach abroad (TOEFL iBT 100 including
a score of at least 28 on the speaking portion)
